How we process and protect your personal data.
This website places no tracking cookies and uses no analytics tool. The only personal data we receive is what you send us voluntarily through the contact and quotation form. It is used solely to reply to you, is never sold or transferred, and you may request its deletion at any time.
The data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Micronics Systems has not appointed a data protection officer. Requests concerning your data are handled directly by management, at the address above.
The contact and quotation request form collects the following information:
| Data | Required? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| First and last name | Yes | To identify you and personalise our reply |
| Company | Yes | To understand your industrial context |
| Email address | Yes | To send you our reply or your quotation |
| Telephone | No | To call you back where your enquiry warrants it |
| Industry | No | To route the enquiry to the right person |
| Message | Yes | To describe your technical requirement |
We collect no special category data and carry out neither profiling nor automated decision-making.
Like any web server, the one hosting this site keeps connection logs which may contain your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested and the browser type. These logs are used solely for security and for the technical operation of the site.
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Answering a contact enquiry or preparing a quotation | Pre-contractual steps taken at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR) |
| Commercial follow-up and customer relationship | Legitimate interest in developing our business (art. 6.1.f) |
| Ensuring the security and availability of the website | Legitimate interest in protecting our information system (art. 6.1.f) |
| Meeting an accounting or legal obligation | Legal obligation (art. 6.1.c) |
We do not use your details for automated prospecting and do not add them to any commercial email campaign without your agreement.
Your data is accessible only to those who need it in order to handle your enquiry: the sales, technical and administrative teams of Micronics Systems.
Outside the company, only our technical providers acting as processors within the meaning of the GDPR are involved, namely our hosting provider and our email provider. They access the data solely for the purposes of their service.
We do not sell, rent or exchange your data with any third party for commercial purposes. It may be disclosed to an authority only upon a legally founded judicial or administrative request.
| Type of data | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Enquiry with no commercial follow-up | 3 years from the last contact |
| Customer file (accepted quotation, order) | Duration of the relationship, then archived per accounting obligations |
| Accounting records and invoices | 10 years (art. L.123-22 of the French Commercial Code) |
| Server connection logs | 12 months maximum |
The periods in the first and last rows are proposals aligned with French data protection authority guidance. Check that they match your actual practice — in particular the log retention applied by your hosting provider — and adjust them if needed.
The website and the associated data are hosted by our provider, whose identity is given in our legal notice.
This website loads its typefaces from the Google Fonts service (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When a page is displayed, your browser therefore sends a request to that service, which receives your IP address in the process. The service places no cookie, but this connection may involve a transfer of data to the United States.
This transfer is a technical consequence, not an advertising choice. To remove it entirely, the answer is to self-host the fonts on your own server: a straightforward change that also improves loading time. Let us know if you would like this done; this paragraph could then be removed.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, alteration and unauthorised access: encryption of exchanges between your browser and the site, access to messages restricted to the people concerned, and regular updates of the site's components.
No system offers absolute security, however. We advise you not to include in the message field any confidential information whose disclosure would harm you.
Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights over your data:
To exercise these rights, write to info@micronics.fr or to Micronics Systems, 18 rue des Émeraudes, 38280 Villette-d'Anthon, France. We may ask for proof of identity in the event of reasonable doubt. We reply within one month, extendable by two months where the request is complex.
If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL — 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — or online at www.cnil.fr.
This website places no analytics, advertising or social network cookies. Details are given in our cookie policy.
This policy may be amended to reflect legal or technical developments, for instance if we were to add an analytics tool. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page; we invite you to check it regularly.
